    Hot Pepper Gaming: Starvault

Hey guys! I'm sure some of you have heard of the youtube channel Hot Pepper gaming. And if not, well, it's a channel where people review games, and occasionally developers go on there to advertise their games. And the catch of the whole channel, and where they get their namesake, is that the...

Why is butchery even a thing?

You're not forced into making a butcher. You can still make money via selling the carcasses to Butchers, and there's MANY other ways to make money besides just butchering animals. So no, you're not forced into it. You can't do what you used to be able to, but looting a bunch of materials from a...

Does anybody actually play out of Sarducca?

I love Sarducaa, and know of many others who love it, aswell. There is a decent sized group of us living permanently over there, and it's growing every day. Sarducaa is beautiful, and a lot more exciting than Myrland, in my opinion. Also, it's nice to get away from the crowds.

Why is butchery even a thing?

As a long-time butcher player, I think this, alongside adding some required catalysts for different results (certain catalysts could give more teeth, others more meat, others more skin, etc.), and advanced butcher tables being placed in certain locations, would go a long way to improve Butchery...

    Hi, nice to meet you.

Why is butchery even a thing?

That's all great and everything, but I sell VERY little of my mats to NPCs, if any. There's a market for almost everything, to players. And many of the high-end mats are VERY useful. But I mean, nobody uses silk, or ironsilk, or molarium, or any kind of scale for ANYTHING, right?

Why is butchery even a thing?

Actually, I assume nothing. I am regularly creating buy orders, that get filled. That's people making money, my friend. :)

Why is butchery even a thing?

Uh, no, actually it's called trade and commerce. :)

Why is butchery even a thing?

You'd certainly know all about that, eh? It's really not complicated; Forcing hunters to trade their carcasses to anothe rplayer for max yields, vastly improves the economy, creates a new role for players who don't care for combat, and nerfs the OP yields hunters had access to prior to...

Why is butchery even a thing?

Oh, that's cute. You think I made a forum account when I started playing? Ohhhh you.

Why is butchery even a thing?

That's just straight up not true. Many, MANY other ways to make money. Now you're just over-exaggerting and being silly, so I'm gonna dip out. I've said my piece.

Why is butchery even a thing?

Well, you certainly give off that vibe. And insecurity? lol. I'm just sticking up for one of my favourite professions in the game, from a bunch of people who want this game cut down to bare basics. I'm not saying go to the graveyard. If you want to hunt for money, you still can. It's easy...

Why is butchery even a thing?

You don't have to find anyone. It's called a trade broker, if you're really so terrified of human interaction and trade. :P
