I just want to give a double thumbs up for having the information related to advanced cooking tools being included, the fuels amounts, etc. Ever since awakening I've not had access to this info, and as such simply did not use those tools.

But now, I can! Thanks again for the info. Time to use advanced cooking tools again.

I was not aware the writing was overly light, or did not show up for some. Must be due to the diff forum templates. I will look into that for sure.

Edit: Since it is all writing in the same colored font.. a question, is it just the spoiler text? Does putiing it into a spoiler change the color? Wasnt aware...
The background of spoilers for the Mortal Online Legacy template is sort of native European skin-colour. The text remains the same, but blends in almost entirely.

Almost, can you change all the text outside the spoilers to default (just click remove formatting)?
This text is now also black and on a grey background it is less readable then what it was before.

It was just the text inside the spoilers causing the issues, which does look good now.

Edit: You also have an extra spoiler tag with no content in it above the spoilers with content, think you mistyped somewhere.

not sure when you changed font color to black, but it is very hard to read for those that use the black background.

I heard I heard...

I screwed it up worse trying to get the spoilers to show up better... Going to have to go through it later when I have a bit of time and fix it up.

Im writing a section on making soph food right now too (or moreso expanding the section to show how to get into it more, since I keep getting bugged about crafting it for people and I do not have the time...) So I will get them both in here later to fix up the thread...

Why do the forum templates not just work in conjunction without me having to fuck around with font colors???? Anyhow.. Ill update a bit later here.

When using the Mortal Online Legacy template (assuming most people use this) the default font color is light gray. The light gray text doesn't blend in well with the light yellow background color from the spoiler.

The other templates (XenForo Light / Mortal Online) have default black font color which does work for everything including text inside spoilers.

If you manually change the font color of text within spoilers to black it'll work for all templates.
Okay, now it's fixed I believe.

Still have those extra spoiler tags each time, but in the edit I cannot see why it is doing this (and I am slightly challenged, so I assume the error is obvious... ) so it will stay as is currently.

If you want you can PM me your content (while you're in editing mode) and I'll remove the extra spoiler tag.
The rest of it looks perfect now.

Golgotha, this is a great guide. It's written in such a way that is easy to follow, informative, and also leaves enough mystery to be encouraging of individual effort. Thanks. A+

I agree with this all, but the bastard won't sell size decreasing food.

I attached a .zip file into the OP and this thread in which you can use to measure the SHMS of the food you create.

I feel it only fair that people should get to properly compare the foods they make, and buy. Thus I am sharing the AHK file so that everyone else can enjoy food as much as I.

Education is our key to proper crafting and non-pvp in MO.

EDIT: You will need to have AutoHotKey on your computer first, and then run this as a script from it.

Zoology is only needed for cooking whole carcass.

I raised honey lore through usage while testing. Not sure if there is an easier way after reading the book...

So, I have had many requests for me to gather and sell the product, or for me to sell the recipe of how to get a shrinking effect in your food. Real life though has me too busy to do much in game a lot of the time, and I feel bad always saying "No, sorry... others know it maybe they will sell... ".

I have re-rolled characters so many times in MO... many of them HATING the fact that I was going to have to redo certain skills (every char makeup has certain ones that take a long time compared to the other skills). And many times, those re-rolls have been due to slight changes in MO and the game-play (or lack of knowledge of how a system worked before fully fleshing out a guy). Some may feel that a re-roll is nothing, and not care at all, but this isn't for them, then.

So in that respect, it does me no good in not sharing... and picking and choosing who to share with is taking sides and showing favoritism (I love and hate you all equally)... that is something I don't like to do... so here is the recipe for Shrinking Food in MO (I will add this to the OP as well).

Gamun Oil Decoction.

That's it. One Ingredient (well two, since you need the water base for a decoc and all). You dont need advanced cooking tools or advanced cooking (which both are the primaries under cooking).

Now, this is the basic recipe, and I am sure with a bit of research you can come up with one as well that is way above 11% Size Growth (as a percent of the UI bar when the decoction is made). Plain Gamun Oil Decoc can reach that 11% on it's own with purified water as the water base.

Enjoy and try not to hate me for sharing. Education is needed here on Nave to leave the Dark age we are in when it comes to our available materials and what they are actually for.

I have not tested how much is needed per height point lost, that is for others to find out to decide what the food would be worth to them, to sell or buy. There is a HUGE difference in the amount needed to digest when moving a few % up or down the bar though to see any movement in your height.

EDIT:Thanks Pave1 for your help on the growth side.

Well seeing that golgotha throws out his recipe here

Gutterscience Labs will add the growth food recipe!

Growthfood:
1 Salvia Oil
10 Pirum Juice or Green Jamburra Juice

that will give 1 cm per 15 units of food.

Use it in cooking pot -> Salvia oil / Juice decoction

Look forward for more goodness from the Gutterscience Labs!

ENJOY! GUTs loves you!

EDIT:
CAREFUL it ONLY works if you have UNSPENT attribute points!
Minused attributes DONOT work! you need to statloss yourself prior to growing

Maybe I am just slow or helpless, but I have been trying to figure out if there is a build that can do this cooking thing all on his own, and from what I can tell it will take at least two Characters. Is that accurate or am I missing something here?

You can cook all on your own BUT you cannot extract everything and cook at the same time.
You need to specialize if you want todo both. Otherwise get a friend or guild m8 to process stuff for you

So, in prepping some food for sale at the Meduli Market, I did an ingredient switch while attempting to make my 98% soph food (as you can see by the name of the food)... but instead came up with a 100%+ soph food :).

This is with advanced cooking not working either. We only get 7 of the slots still SV. How come I cannot use all 14 ingredients yet??
