This game is getting 3000% more attention from their developers than DF, think I'll stick around.

From the Tindremic Empire lore:

Amongst the most important days of celebration are The Imperial Gladiator festival that lasts for about 30 days, and the Raffle of Caerus which is a yearly event in the honour of the god of fortune. In the latter festival the name of a Nobilitas is drawn from an urn, resulting in open and legalised plunder for anyone of the selected person’s house and belongings. The household is then driven away and banished while the participants of the celebration cheer. This festival is meant to show the god of fortune’s inherent fickleness, but as with everything in Tindrem political motives play a major part since it appears to be possible to bribe your way out of the urn using the right connections.

It happened for the first time on Christmas 2010, now it's time to make it happen again. ;)
Did you ever notice the destroyed house into Fabernum?
Raffle of Caerus video
Haha they used my video from last year ohh the memories.... Lol they should have Santa singing that song as he stands outside the house this year :)

That is because the devs haven't given up on MO to work on a MO 2.0.

MK should be added to the noob start town list - why start every noob on the same corner of the map.
It is a bigger town than FAB with GZ mining, though has the same problem of getting ganked by reds as soon as you leave the gates. At least with MK they can try to escape to Toxai and go live on the beach with all its hardwood fruit trees, fishing, and weasels and rabbits in the GZ as well as some mining and .... caving.

Towns are going to lose their unique identities with TC, it used to be they were a racial default start and
that made them unique. Now towns will be red, blue or noob which hardly makes them unique.

I have a feeling "being a blue town" will feel pretty unique soon :D

sigh....they should at least use shades of blue and shades of red on the map as color codes....I can't keep up with all the takeovers and mergers anymore.

Someone said in another thread MK can go red - is that now true and why it was not also set as start option? If it is true seems FEAR would have taken it already.

There are no resources inside FAB itself - you even spawn outside the GZ. Makes for a nice gankfest of noobs trying to figure out how to make a run for the gates....MK is a much better choice though of course you still get ganked if you try to leave for the pig farm or calx.

MK can go red, but imho its better as a blue town

[/FONT] City Magistrates:

  • Keeping a good relationship with your citizens can be worth the reward!
The options does not cost any points; however, the magistrates will check to see how many players there are in their town. The number of players will be transformed into Prominence and sent to the controlling guild. The number of PP the city will give your guild will start at a negative value meaning a city with little or no players in it will cost PP rather then generate it for your guild. Trial accounts do not count as members of your city when this is calculated.

This means that you should try to keep your city filled with players to make sure that it produces Prominence for your guild!
OMG OMG This is cool!

best change would be to change how the guardzone in player owned towns work...
reds (at least those wearing the tag of the guild in charge of the town) aren't guardable unless they commit a crime like everyone else.
They are still attackable but since people will turn local allowed, the red will be able to defend himself.

maybe it's allready working like this ? because it's obvious it should be like that or somehow close ^^
