Placoid Scales/Ganoid Scales

The fish 'Laake' gives aprox 1500 leptoid scales per stack.

Does anyone know what fish/creature gives placoid & ganoid scales?? Thanks!

Placoid is from Silk Ray.

Haven't caught those yet, though I've heard they make great colored dyes!

They do, both rays are good for dyes.

Been fishing at 1000 cm-1300, day/night, Medulli. Can't seem to snag one of these beasties. Using Medium line, hook size 20. Maybe its the bait that is not right? Herberus, Calmine, mushrooms.

Try hook size 5 quality leather. Try to get as close as you can to bottom
